The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for an Administrator of CTE Program and Business Partnerships position that is available in the division for the 2024-2025 school year.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Administrator of CTE Program and Business Partnerships directs a comprehensive vocational program, which includes career exploration in grades 6-8 and career preparation in grades 9-12. The Administrator plans community education programs and is responsible for developing and managing the Career and Technical Education program budget.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with endorsement in Administration and Supervision PreK-12, Secondary, or Middle School
- Hold a master’s degree or higher in School Administration or Curriculum Instruction from an accredited college or university
- Have a minimum of five years of teaching experience
- Possess broad knowledge of career and technical educational programs and technology
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework
- Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Engage and collaborate effectively with parents and families
- Collaborate with teachers and contribute to a positive team environment
- Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have three years of administrative experience
SALARY: $77,241.99 - $139,145.59 annually, with benefits; commensurate with experience and pro-rated to start date
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
