Part-time .40 position - 3 hrs/day 

Hours of work:  10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for a part-time .40 Health & Physical Education teacher position that is available at Montgomery Central for the 2024-2025 school year. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with appropriate endorsement to teach Health & Physical Education. 
• Have experience in curriculum development and developing lesson plans
• Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
• Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
• Be dependable and punctual
• Have experience or have working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration and course
