Summer Grounds Workers

Temporary Positions (4)

 

Montgomery County Public Schools is now accepting applications for temporary summer grounds positions. The positions will begin on June 3, 2024 and continue until July 31, 2024 and shall not exceed 40 hours per week. The hours may vary depending on the needs of the division. These positions are open to current MCPS students only.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The temporary grounds worker performs duties to include, mowing, trimming, mulching, and other grounds maintenance tasks at various division facilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and follow basic operating instructions
• Ability to cooperate with other staff members
• Ability to respond well to emergencies
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions
• Ability to be dependable and punctual 

 

Salary: $13.26 - $22.31 (depending on previous experience with Montgomery County Schools)

 

FLSA: Non-Exempt
