Montgomery County Public Schools is accepting applications for a part-time lunch and recess aide position that is available at Harding Avenue Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The lunch and recess aide maintains order among children, assists in the directing of the students to and from the cafeteria, performs general housekeeping in the cafeteria, and assists cafeteria staff with any other necessary duties. The lunch and recess aide assists in the directing of the students to and from the playground and classroom, communicates with teachers about student behavior during recess, and assists teachers with any other necessary duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and co-workers
- Have previous experience working with children
- Dependability and punctuality required
SALARY: $15.00 - $27.51 per hour, depending on similar experience
Hours: Not to exceed 5.5 hours per day
