The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for a Pharmacy Technician teacher position that is available for the 2024-2025 school year. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License
  • Hold or be eligible for a Pharmacy Technician endorsement OR two years of full-time employment within the past five years as a certified Pharmacy Technician in Virginia
  • Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, and families
  • Demonstrated ability to be dependable and punctual
  • Have strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous teaching experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or in the medical field
  • Eligibility and experience with dual enrollment

 

FLSA Status:  Non-exempt

 

SALARY:  $50,072.26 - $83,120.04 annually; with benefits; commensurate with experience
