Teacher - Spanish
Eastern Montgomery High School / Shawsville Middle School
School Year 2024 – 2025
The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for a Spanish teaching position that is available for the 2024-2025 school year at both Eastern Montgomery High School and Shawsville Middle School. This is one position to serve both schools.
Primary Responsibilities:
To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach Spanish at the secondary school level
- Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
- Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration and course work
- Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
- Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
- Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers
FLSA: Exempt
Salary: 2024-2025 Teachers’ Salary Scale with benefits, pro-rated to start date
