2024-25 Athletic Director - CHS

Full-Time Position - 12 Months

The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for a full-time Athletic Director position that is available at Christiansburg High School.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with endorsement in a secondary subject area
• Ability to oversee the overall operation of the school’s Athletic Program
• Experience coaching high school sports
• Ability to organize multiple events
• Work well with parents, coaches and students
• Work evenings and weekends
• Have knowledge of VHSL programs, activities, policies and procedures
• Ability to work with district, regional and state organizations
• Ability to work with Officials’ Organizations
• Ability to supervise the maintenance, care, and upkeep of all athletic fields and facilities
• Ability to be dependable and punctual

Preference Given For:

• Individuals with previous athletic director experience
• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia license with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision, PreK-12
